Nick Anthony
Coach Anthony coaches for the Glenwood Middle School team. He is a former varsity wrestler for Cleveland State University where he graduated in the spring of 2013. He was a high school state qualifier in Ohio

Jeremy Mosier
Coach Mosier serves as a coach for RWA, Glenwood High School, and the Chatham Wrestling Club
Career Summary: 1996 – 2000: Wrestled for LeRoy High School from 1996-2000, 2x IHSA State Qualifier
2000 – 2004: Wrestled for NCAA Division III Millikin University. 4x varsity letter-winner, 2004 CCIW Runner-up, 174lb career wins leader.
2004 – 2005: Assistant Coach for Argenta-Oreana HS
2006 – 2007: Head coach at PORTA Junior High. Team finished with a 16-0 dual meet record while claiming the Regional and Sectional Championships.
2007 – 2008: Head coach at Bloomington Junior High. Team won the 2008 IESA State Championship along with the Regional and Sectional Championship.
2008-Present: Head coach at Glenwood High School in Chatham, IL. 2010, 2011, 2012 Regional and Conference Champions. 2011 Dual Team State Qualifier (Elite 8)

Tommy Johnson
Coach Johnson is our RWA and GHS assistant wrestling coach. Coach Johnson is one of the original founders of RWA when it was Ascension Wrestling Academy MMA.
Career Summary 1995-1999: Wrestled for Glenwood High School. 3x IHSA class AA State Qualifier.
1999 – 2003: Wrestled for NCAA Division III Illinois College
2004 – 2006: Assistant Coach for Litchfield High School
2006 – Present: Head Coach at Glenwood High School. 2006, 2007, 2008 Regional Champions, 2006 and 2007 Conference Champions

Josh Murphy
Coaches for the Jacksonville Area Wrestling Club. Assistant coach for RWA. Josh has been with RWA since it was founded.

Mike Benefiel: 4x IHSA State Champion from Montini High School. Wrestled for Northwestern University, Oklahoma State University and Elmhurst College. Won 2013 DIII National Championship at 197lbs.

Paul Collum: 2x IHSA State Champion.Collum was also a top wrestler at the collegiate level. He began at Iowa Central Community College, where his team took home an NJCAA title in 2002, and he finished in fifth place. The next season, he won an NJCAA national title and helped his team to a second place finish.  Soon afterwards, he transferred to Missouri Valley College and, in 2005, helped his team to a second place NAIA finish behind Lindenwood University. In that season, Collum won an NAIA national title in his weight class.

Steven Bradley: Head Coach at Lincoln Jr. College.  A native of Beech Grove, IN, Steven was a 3 time Indiana state champion for Beech Grove HS. Steven started his collegiate career at Lincoln College. Steven was a Jr. College National runner-up in 2000 for the Lynx. After graduation from Lincoln, Steven transferred to University of Indianapolis.
After a year of competition Steven’s college career was cut short due to injury. Steven served the last four years as Assistant Coach for Indy before coming back to Lincoln. In that time he helped produce 12 NCAA Division II All-Americans. Bradley was inducted into the Indiana Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2007.
In his 3 years at Lincoln Steven has helped produce 16 All-Americans. In addition to his coaching Steven is the Director of the Lincoln College Fitness Center.

David Ray: Former Head Coach at SIUE. Wrestled at the University of Iowa. Compiled 23 years of collegiate coaching experience during his career.

Seth Livingston:Northern Illinois University, North Central College. 2000 IHSA class AA State Champion at Heavyweight for Bloomington High School. 2001 IHSA class AA State-Runner Up at Heavyweight, 4x IHSA State Qualifier

Justin Hale:Iowa State University. 2006 IHSA class AA State Runner Up. 2007 and 2008 NJCAA All-American at Lincoln Jr. College.

Doug Dewald: Iowa State University. Head Coach at LeRoy High School. His team won the state championship in 2012, placed 3rd in 2011 and was 2nd in 2009. Coach Dewald was a state champion out of Cedar Falls, Iowa in 1989. He then wrestled collegiate at Iowa State University before going on to coach West Waterloo (high school Dan Gable attended) for several years before becoming the now head coach at LeRoy High School

Ryan Root: Penn State University, University of Illinois. Ryan Root was a 4x state placer. He took 5th place as a freshman and placed 2nd in his sophomore and junior seasons at the IHSA class AA state tournament. He then moved to Ohio for his senior season where he placed 3rd prior to wrestling at 190lbs for Penn State University.

Matt Veach: Eastern Illinois University, Iowa State University, Lincoln Jr. College. Matt Veach was an NJCAA All-American while at Lincoln Jr. College, and a national qualifier while wrestling at Eastern Illinois University. In 2002 he was the starting 157lb wrestler for Iowa State. Matt has now established himself as an elite MMA fighter after winning his UFC debut this year and holds an 11-0 record. Matt will is currently scheduled to fight in UFC 102.
